As friends for over 25 years, we appreciated Rod's quiet, cheerful personality.  A highly intelligent man, interested in bird watching, history, biography and sport, particularly motor racing-above all else he was most content at home with his beloved Lindsay and Jane. Having said that, he so much enjoyed the holidays to New Zealand, Australia and Canada, with the opportunity to take wonderful photographs. We will miss Rod but remember the many happy times we spent together.
